Unable to sign in Reader 8.0, but works in Acrobat pro 8.0

Dear Adobe,

Help!I created a from in Adobe Life cycle 7.0 upgraded to 8.0. I have a place for digital signatures. They work In Acrobat 8.0 but not when I try them in Reader 8.0. When I look at the reader it states signing not allowed and then when I look at permission details it says signing allowed. Is it a glitch?????????

I know that you can use Acrobat Professional to give the pdf the permission to be signed (and saved). I don´t know however, if there is any licence restriction for doing that...
