Text Entry field HELP!!!

Avatar

Former Community Member
Hi everyone. My first post may be a stupid question, but for the life of me I can't find the answer...

I'm developing a form for a client, and when I put a text entry field in place, they can add as much text as they want. However, when they print the form, it ONLY prints the first line of text.

How do I fix this??!!??

I'm running on Windows Vista, and have LiveCycle Designer CS3.

You can either make the field grow to hold all of the text or you can limit the user to typinng in the viewable area (a check box on the object page). To do th e1st suggestion you have to build the entire form with this in mind. It must be flowed and dynamic.

Is there some type of tutorial in place somewhere that shows me how to do this? I tried building a dynamic form, and it wasn't working there...ARGH!!!!

What if I increase the size of the text entry field vertically? Would that work?

I woudl suggest making the field bigger ....allow multi-line entfies and limit entry to visible area of the screen. All on the object palette of the object.
