Shrinking an expanded flowed subform, back to original, in reponse to user's interaction?

In some cases (but not always), I sometimes find that when a "hidden" child subform's presence is made "visible" and then made "hidden" again(user changes their mind), the parent flowable subform doesn't always shrink back to original--the child subform acts as if it is "invisible" instead of "hidden". Then, If the next "hidden" child subform is then made "visible", in response to a subsequent user's action, this newly "visible" child subform occupies the open space left by the now "hidden" child subform (slack disappears). Is there a method to make the flowable parent subform resize itself (shrink to fit) after the user decides something else? Is there a method to make the form reevaluate this flowable parent subform size and "reel in the slack", so to speak?

Are you sure you are setting the presence to hidden and not invisible?

Can you duplicate the problem at will?

If so send the form and the steps to duplicate and I will have a look.
