Seeking information about VOIP capabilities.

Hi friends,

I am looking information in detail as to what can we do exactly in terms of adding VOIP capabilities to an exiting app already using LCCS. For example: Can we add add our own SIP server? I should probably add that we need to run the application on an iOS compiled app via AIR

Any info or if you can point me to a place with detail information on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Well, LCCS doesn't really offer any specific support for external VOIP.

You can certainly run your own SIP server but that would mean your application should also run a SIP client (don't know of any ActionScript based SIP client library but you could probably add a C/C++/Objective-C library to your application using the latest version of AIR).

have you seen Flash Media Gateway http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashmedia_gateway/

I dont know if it's currently being worked on but it may be what your looking for.
