I created a form on designer to be used with acrobat reader, is there a way for the reader to record all the new inputted data into the form. For future use?

thanks

By default, the free Adobe Reader does not allow the user to save the data. However, you can add usage rights to your PDF using Adobe Acrobat 8 (just released). I believe you can download a trial version now. With the usage rights added, users of the form will be able to save completed form for future use using the menu commands in Reader. There are some license limitations that you should be aware of though. Check the Acrobate 8 licence agreement to be sure, but I think you are restricted to 500 users of the form. If you are going to have more than 500 users, then you can look into using Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions, but be warned that this option requires a hefty budget.
