Reader Crashes whenever I mouse over a field

Hi All,

I am currently having a problem where the instance of Adobe Reader that is running my form crashes whenever I move my mouse cursor over a field. The form works fine if I tab through it, but as soon as I start using the mouse to try to do stuff, the application crashes. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Rob v.

Are you using any tool tips on the fields?

I'm wondering if that could be related.

Nope, no tool tips, Good idea though. I've got no scripts on Mouse Enter or Exit either, anywhere.

does it crash on all the computers or just on yours?

maybe try reintall Reader? deinstall, reboot, remove all related temp files, re-install.

don't know if it's going to help, just a thought.

Hi,

Yes it does crash on all computers, but I've found the issue. I'm dynamically loading a large list into a drop-down box through a script. If I don't load the list, no problem, if I do load the list, I start getting this mouse problem. It seems that the Reader is suffering from an overload and can't handle it and therefore crashes.

Thanks,

Rob
