"xfaForm" option in "Type list" is not available whlie defining variables

Hi,

I am using LiveCycle workbench 8.0.1(trail version), while using process designer, I am tried to define a variable to store my form as :

Variables view > Add a new Variable .

Here I can find Name box, Title box, Description box and in the Type list I have to select "xfaForm" but this option is not available.



can someone help me how to make this option available in the "Type list".

I'm really starting to think something was not installed properly during your installation. You are missing very basic components.



Are you sure you have installed all the components?

Try dragging a form from the resource into the variable view,see wha t happens

Can you check under the Component View within workbench and see if the TaskManagerDSC is started properly.



If not, you can install it by right-clicking on Component/Install and browsing to c:\Adobe\LiveCycle8\deploy\adobe-taskmanager-dsc.jar.



Don't forget to start the component once it's started.
