Preview PDF tab missing from Layout Editor in LifeCycle Designer 8.0

The Preview PDF tab went missing from my Layout Editor in LifeCycle Designer 8.0 when I have a form open or even when I try to design a new form. If I go to View, the Preview PDF option is greyed-out, so I am unable to select it. The darn thing was there yesterday, but I installed a new version of Reader (installed 9) this morning and the Preview PDF tab has not been seen since. Any ideas out there or should I contact my IT department to reinstall LifeCycle Designer?
