Order of PDF Package Files

I'm attempting to arrange the files in a PDF Package in a specific order yet no matter what I do in the DDX it they still get sorted alphabetically.

This is a simple example of what I want to do;

When the package is displayed Doc1 shows first then Doc2 rather than the order shown in the DDX.

Does anyone have any idea how to create a non-alphabetic order of Package files.

An alphabetic sort is the default. To create a non-default sort, use the <SortOrder> element with nested <Field> elements.

I've tried the following with NO success. What is the correct complete syntax for this very simple example?

The output document's package needs to be defined with a non-default sort order. Try something like this:

<DDX xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/DDX/1.0/">

<PDF result="outDoc">

<Package>

<SortOrder>

<Field name="Name" ascending="false"/>

</SortOrder>

</Package>

<PackageFiles>

<PDF source="doc2"/>

<PDF source="doc1"/>

</PackageFiles>

</PDF>

</DDX>

Tried it... ascending="false" just sorts in descending order.

If you want to sort doc0, doc2, doc1, doc99 you can't seem to do it in LC8.2 but in LC8.0 the order in the DDX was the order you saw in the package.

The following sorts descending:

doc2

doc1

This works. I added a sorting field to the schema and hide it in the package.
