New to me, but excited to learn

I've been developing Excel order forms and converting to .pdf's to send clients, but increasingly get asked to provide as fillable forms. So, I purchased Pro 7 w/ LiveCycle. Really cool and I see great possibilities. No local training seems to be around, though, here in Dallas. I know Ecel formula calculations really well, but don't know FormCalc or Javascript. I need to know how to do just some basics and learn from there. I've gone through several tutorials and they help with understanding the designer, but writing the script necessary for tax calculations, labor and deliver charges, etc... based off of order totals I'm at a bit of a loss for at this time. I would like to be pointed to a very good reference source that I can study or a tutorial program that can help me learn how to add these functions. Local training would be great if anyone knows who trains in this area of the country. The Adobe website didn't seem to have anyone listed.

Hi Robert - if you're comfortable loading up an existing form and poking around, you'll find the Purchase Order sample, which comes with Designer, does a lot of what you're looking for. It's a purchase order that lets you add new item rows, choose items from a list, and calculate taxes and totals.

It's installed with Form Designer - look in the "en/Samples" directory where you installed Form Designer.
