I have an existing PDF document that I want to import into LiveCycle. I've been selecting the option "Create an Interactive Form with Fixed Pages" when doing the import.
This looks great and would meet my needs, but then I need to add a text field to the footer for every page that I can populate via ColdFusion when the PDF is served.
It looks like Master Pages are the way to create something that goes on every page. But, apparently using the Fixed Pages import disables the ability to add master pages.
I've tried the other import option, "Create an Interactive Form with a Flowable Layout," but it does a poor job of importing my form. These are complicated forms that will take a fair amount of work to recreate in LC Designer.
Am I just thinking about this all wrong? Should I be trying to do this in Acrobat, instead? Or is there another way?
