How do you assign a Body Page to a Master Page if you have multiple Master Pages?

I have a small doubt. Suppose if we have text frames in Master Pages, then will those text frames appear in the body pages? Can we start typing into them in the body pages, or should we insert new text frames in body pages to enter content?
