LDAP2XML limitation?

Hi all,

I have a process that supposedly should look up in an AD and fetch all users there with their emails.

This works fine in my development environment with approximately 100 users, But moving to the production enviroment (15.000 users) I get a problem, not all users are returned and the process reports an error when invoked through Workbench.

Is there any limitation to how large a number of users the LDAP2SXML-service can handle?

Thanks in advance

Sincerely

Kim

Kim,

The limitation is probably in AD. Many LDAP directories have a limit on the number of rows/objects that can be returned from a query.

Take a look at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/243281. "To improve the query response time when you are searching for Active Directory objects in a Windows 2000-based organization, searches are limited to 10,000 objects by default."

Hi again Steve,

Thank you for the info - I was not aware of this.

I will dig into the issue right away.
