How to allow users to "Insert Pages..." into Designer-created pdf

Hi

I'd like my users to be able to insert some pages into PDF files that I've created using Designer.

However, the Document/Insert Pages... menu item is grayed out when you open a Designer PDF file in Acrobat.



Does anyone know how to enable this menu item?



I also noticed that in File/Document Properties..., Security tab, "Document Assembly" is disallowed.

You cannot edit Designer forms in Acrobat. This isn't about

permissions, it's because they are different kinds of thing.

We've had to 'dumb' the form down in Illustrator, page by page and then insert them in to the desired pdf through Acrobat using the dumb downed forms.



Unfortunately, this gets rid of your interactivity. You need to recreate the interactivity (the) in Acrobat.
