How to activate or start an inactive service?

I have service like APSAuditService version, which is in inactive state

When I try to start it I get the following message:



Service: APSAuditService version: 1.0 must be in a stopped state prior to starting



Similarly if i try to "stop" it



Service: APSAuditService version: 1.0 must be in a running state prior to stopping



All the endpoints in the service are enabled



I it is the same case with all inactive services, I can´t find anything in the documentation



Please help

Roberto,



Have you activated your service from Workbench? If you haven't, browse to the service from services view in workbench, right click on the service and click activate. Once it's active then you can start and stop the service
