Help to configure PDF Generator ES2 dev environment on Windows XP

Hi

I need help to configure PDF Generator ES2 dev environment on Windows XP

I am getting the error down when try to convert native MS Word files.

It seems LC PDF Generator service does not have permission to launch MS Word despite account set in "User Accounts" and in the installation process.

In my environment, I used ADOBENET\fegoncal credential in LC PDFG ES2 installation. This user has administration privilege and was the same that installed MS Office.

How can I fix the issue?

Server log attached.

Error in AdminUI:

Error Code:1000

Error Message:

Error message from the primary converter:

ALC-PDG-001-000-Conversion of the input file failed because of an exception.

An unexpected exception while resolving a new connection to an Adobe Service.

Error message from the fallback converter:

ALC-PDG-001-000-Conversion of the input file failed because of an exception.

An unexpected exception while resolving a new connection to an Adobe Service.

Error in the server.log:

ERROR: API = CreateProcessAsUser

ERROR CODE = 1314

MESSAGE = Client user does not have necessary privilege

Problem is related to “Grant the Replace a process level token privilege”.

I have performed tasks in guide Preparing to Install LiveCycle ES2 (Single Server) page 33, To grant the Replace a process level token privilege… and it solved the problem.

Hi Fernando,

Did you see a significant improvement in performance comparing LC PDF-G ES2 with ES U1 regarding MSFT files?

Obrigado,

Carlos
