GDI error with workbench

Avatar

Former Community Member
Just installed Workbench ES 8.2.1 on Windows Vista Ultimate running in Boot Camp on a Macbook Pro.

Everything seems to work fine, until I try to open a process. The process diagram does not display. Eclipse outputs the following error:

org.eclipse.swt.SWTException: Unable to load graphics library [GDI+ is required] (java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError)

I've confirmed that GDIPLUS.DLL is located in the /livecycle ES/Workbench ES/Workbench/ directory.

Any ideas?

Ok, I suppose because Java is running a .dll, I had to right-click on the Workbench launcher and select Run as Administrator.

Sheesh.
