Form Guide Question

I was wondering about Form Guides and if we can put the resultant SWF on a web page or if it has to run inside the Workspace interface.

It has to be served up by Form Server. If you want to render it in workspace then there are Renderers provided that will make the appropriate call to Form Server for you.



If you want to deploy it on a web page, you can but you will have to make the calls to Form Server yourself.

Thank you for the quick reply. I have a couple more questions about this.



What do you mean 'calls to Form Server'?



Also, can you do digital signatures in a Form Guide?



We would like to promote the form guides from a web pages whenever possible instead of using Workspace.

The form has to be served using the LiveCycle Forms service. There is a renderFormGuide operation on that service that will take care of rendering an XDP template into a Form Guide.



Now when the Form Guide is rendered, it has a button so you can switch between the Guide and the PDF version. You'll have to use the digital signature on the PDF. Digital signatures won't work in the Guide.
