Flex Data Services on OS X?

Is there or will there be a way to run Flex Data Services
running OS X in the near future?

Good question. I'm ready to try it out... but OS X is my dev
box...

Yeah, that's a bummer!

It is possible to use the AIX-version and run the jar - it
installs and the compiler seems to work. I have to test it yet
running with Tomcat. Maybe this weekend.

You can run it on OS X, but we don't support it as an
official deployment platform. You just need to download the
Java-based installer, which is the one listed as HP-UX or AIX. If
you follow the same instructions, it will work for dev purposes.
