Editing a fillable form for PDF

I have been creating fillable forms with PDF and Livecycle Designer, but I have run into a snag. I want to add the tax amount to the form so that it will automatically calculate the tax amount to the subtotal. How do I do this? I am new at this. Thanks.

In the adobe application folder check out the "Purchase Order" sample. Just run a search for it.
