Compatibility with version 6

I saved my form (simple text fields) with the Acrobat 6 Compatibility option, and when I open it with Acrobat 6 Standard (6.0.0), Acrobat 7 Standard, or Reader 7 it opens fine (minus a warning in Acrobat 6 Standard saying I need to upgrade). But when I try to open the form with Reader 6 (6.0.0) an error comes up and the form is just blank.



I saw other threads that said Reader >= 6.0.2 is needed, but is it possible to have the form work with Reader >= 6.0.0?

You should be creating Acrobat forms (in Acrobat) not Designer if you

want compatibility with older software.

Unfortunately I only have Acrobat Standard, and forms can only be made with Acrobat Professional.

Yes, but you said you saved a form in the first place... anyway, that

is the resolution. Form designers need Acrobat Professional.
