If a check box is grey or inactive, how can I add a caption?

By any chance, was the form you are working on started as a PDF file that you are adding LiveCycle form fields to?



If so, you would have to have all field identification text in the original PDF, just like using Acrobat's form tool.

Actually, I used the wizard in the Acro 8>Forms Tab and imported a Excel sheet. Then I changed the object type
