Can I disable clicking on an image

I have some static images in my form. If the user clicks on one of these images, the image is highlighted. I want this click to have no effect -- as if the image were a watermark. How can I disable clicking on an image, or make the click have no effect?

Are you using an Image object or an ImageField Object. If you click on the image does a file dialog pop up? If I use an image object ...nothing happens when I click on it.

It is an image object, not an image field. In Acrobat reader -- or in PDF preview mode -- if I click on it, the rectangle encompassing the entire image is highlighted in blue.

Thanks for your response.

Mine does not do that ...can you send the form to livecycle8@gmail.com so I can see what you mean?

Recieved it and had a look ....Because it is an image Acrobat is highlighting the area of the image to allow you to copy it. I do not see a way to disable that behaviour.
