Clever ways to randomize audiences

Hi Adobe Community,

I am wondering if anyone out there has figured out any clever ways to enable random splits in their audiences. We want to create completely random non testing/holdout groups for our audience. Ideally it would be an easy to use OOTB tool that can take my current audience and give me a random 10% of ECNs to holdout as a new audience or list. We've toyed around with using component audiences. Wondering if there are any other good solutions that can work for this. Look forward to reading your responses.

Are you aware of the Audience composition possibility in aep? When creating an audience, you can choose "compose audience" where you have the possibilities to split (either on percent or on attribute), which gives you a random split of an audience.
