Since Data Elements and Extensions are needed to build rules, how about moving the Rules tab to come after Extensions (see yellow arrow in the screen shot below)?

I'm interested to see the feedback.  Internal debates continue about whether to cater to the first-time user and arrange the Nav based on the order you do things when you first setup a property or to arrange it for frequency of use on a day-to-day basis.  I'd love to hear from folks what they prefer.

Would it be possible to make both sides of this debate happy by detecting the state of the selected Web Property?

if (selected Web Property is new*) {

    display the nav arranged in the order you do things when you first set-up a property;

} else {

    display the nav arranged for frequency of day-to-day usage;

}

*new could be defined as never had a build to the staging environment. Or another debate on what constituents a "new" web property could ensue! ha

I think it should be set up in the order that you do things...I would like to see extensions right after the overview tab.

I agree that it should come later and follow the order that things are done.

Overview > Extensions > Data Elements > Rules
