Adobe Experience Platform Edge Network Server API

Avatar

Level 3

Hi,

Anyone using AEP Edge Network server API. As per my understanding, this will help us to send the data to multiple systems(AEP, AA, AT, AAM etc) in an easy way. But, AEP edge network server api will not replace Adobe Target Server Side SDK/Adobe Target Delivery API as this is designed to deliver the experience. Is my understanding correct?

Thanks,

MA

Yes, we can use Edge API to render experiences. Maybe this link can give you a better understanding - https://youtu.be/RCvL7-V_G1c

Yes, have started using this API and it can be used to interact with various Adobe solutions. It is also capable of rendering Target experiences similar to Target Delivery API and has some advantages over the Delivery API like Integrations with Edge Network.

@DisaRas Thanks for your response. Does it mean, we can use Adobe Edge network API to render the Target experience on the websites, mobile app etc. Is there any documentation/link to see the advantages over the Delivery API.

FYI - currently, using Adobe Target Batch Delivery API to render the experience and thought of moving to Adobe Target Node JS/Java SDK. But, if Adobe Edge Network API provides more advantages then happy to consider this.
