I purchased Adobe audition 3 many years ago, but last year the machine that I had it loaded on finally died. So I purchased a new computer and tried to load my Adobe disc to it. For some reason my keygen didn't work. So I contacted Adobe because I was in dire need. I had a project to complete and turn in. Adobe first didn't even believe that I had the disc. I had to actually show them proof that I owned the disc. Once they saw that I own the disc, they went on to tell me that they zapped my keygen because it was outdated and that I have to purchase a monthly membership. For all that money that I spent on that disc I shouldn't have to join a monthly subscription when I already paid a lot of money for the disc. I'm fine with my old version of things I don't want any updated version. So they...after 2 weeks of trying to figure this out, gave me a link to Adobe audition 6. Now after having it for almost a year, all of my projects are messed up and it's acting weird. I can't update to get my program to act right, and I have projects to turn in for work. This is very unfair and it feels like they are trying to rob me for something that I already paid for. I don't want the updated version...3 worked fine for me. Why would you make someone's keygen obsolete that they paid for? I cannot afford to pay a monthly membership for Adobe. Have you guys even seen gas prices and inflation going up? I was safe with my desk that I paid for. If I had my disc right now I wouldn't have to worry about buying anything while being broke, and losing my job. This is very unfair. Why would a company do something like that to people? So more money is what's important to Adobe then pleasing long time customers? Version 6 that they've given me isn't working anymore. Can someone please contact me and fix this? I really would appreciate it. I don't want to lose my job...so that would be great.
