We have email notifications set up to be sent out on a variety of Workflow steps that are initiated as part of an AEM Project.
The "Content:" link in the email is linking to the Assets > Projects > [Project Name] folder using the syntax listed below.
https://author-prod.[domain].com${payload.path.open}\n/
However, we would like to change this link to instead resolve to the Projects > [Project Name] folder.
I've reviewed the following link but I'm not seeing a variable listed that will populate the path to the Project rather than the Project's Asset Folder.
Configuring Email Notification
Please let me know if this is possible and if so, the appropriate syntax to use.
Thank you!

Have you tried customizing Email Templates for Workflow Notification ? There is a ${payload.path} variable that you can set and I think that's what you are looking for.

We have tried changing https://author-prod.[domain].com${payload.path.open} to https://author-prod.[domain].com${payload.path} and the resulting link in the emails goes to a 403 page:
https://author-prod.[domain].com/content/dam/projects/[project_and_folder_path]/[project_name]/
Please see attached screenshot of the error that I'm getting
What I'm trying to link to is the following:
