When to use JCR-SQL2 query approach versus Querybuilder approach

Hi All,

Have observed that at certain places JCR-SQL2 is used and at other places QueryBuilder is used.

Are there any specific set of conditions based on which , either of the two is used : like during heavy processing/light weight processing.

Any thoughts/pointers on this will be helpful.
