I want to have a unique content_id for every core asset in my AEM instance. We want to produce feeds out of our CMS and each feed item should have a content id and a version #. Though AEM has the concept of UUID, I am not sure what should be the best way to do it. Alternate is having a property called 'hash' and use it as content id. Our production will be heavily loaded with multiple feed consumers.
Please advice on the best way of designing this and if there is an inherent AEM feature I can use?
