Eclipse "AEM Developer Tools for Eclipse" has a bug and it not working on any version of eclipse.
The workaround is, after configuring the AEM deploy server in the last screen using "AEM Developer Tools for Eclipse " click finish and will get following error
Unable to create project from archetype [com.adobe.granite.archetypes:aem-project-archetype:12 -> https://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public]
Now, click previous screen you find out all the previously filled data is gone. Fiil the missing data and click "Finish" button without click "Next" button.
THIS WILL WORKS.
My recommended way is, install maven and create the project and import the existing maven project into eclipse.
