Targeting a CQ component

I targeted a CQ component and activated the page. I could see the targeted component getting rendered on the published page in publish environment but not on the dispatcher level. Why is it so ? Is it the default behaviour of a targeting a component ?

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean by "on the dispatcher level". Do you mean that the cached page did not include the targeted component?
