Session Details

Some Experience Manager projects can suffer from bad code quality, but also from not following Adobe best practices. Applications seem to work at first glance, but often show inconsistent and problematic behavior in production. Learn how to improve your code as we refactor a "faulty" example to conform to our best practices. We also address how to implement with the "what if" in mine.

Learn how to:

  • Resources over nodes
  • OSGI configuration vs. caConfig
  • Logging
  • Servlets: path bound vs. resource types
  • Corner cases, like slow third-party integrations

This session is for experienced developers and architects that have a solid knowledge in Java, and preferably, Experience Manager.

Speaker

  • Joerg Hoh - Senior Technical Architect, Adobe
