Size difference in repository after the migration of segmentstore and datastore

Hi Team,

Have followed the below blog and done the seperation of segmentstore and datastore in local. The new instance is starting up without any issues. But when i compare the size of the new repository(7gb) with the existing one(29 gb), it is varying much. Does anyone have the idea where the large difference in size comes from?
