segment cannot have more than 255 references

Hi,

I am trying to compact the repository having oak 1.0.9 with oak run tool version 1.0,11. I am getting the below error when running the backup command. Any insights what could be the issue.

Exception: org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.segment.SegmentOverflowException: Segment cannot have more than 255 references
