Search Bar always open

Hi, I would like to have the search bar pull down menu to be closed as per default. When browsing to our homepage, the search field is open as a pull down menu right away. One has to click on the little "x" to close it. The problem is that the search filed hides a picture that I would like to show. When someone needs to search he can then go to the search bar and it might open. But not as default... See attached photos.

Any idea?

Is the search bar in your Nav component?

It is in the header which is a Product Asset Page (template)

This type of customization would be to be changed at the code level. Many times - a Search bar is coded into a site. Look at the Search bar in the Example Toy Store site here:
