The integration can be done. IIRC older versions of Introscope had problems with OSGI, so you should a recent version. But then it should work. (I have never used it myself, on customers used it on projects.)
This is not a common request. Its the first time that I have seen it. However - I will check with AEM Eng and internal Adobe AEM employees. In mean-time - perhaps a community member has done this and can comment.
