Simulator Bugs

Hi there,

I am currently developing a responsive website within AEM 5.6 and I have implemented the simulator, although there seems to be issues when using certain devices that the screen doesn't resize correctly although on refresh in preview mode it works fine. This is re-creatable within the Geometrixx media site as well.

Is this a known issue, and is it fixed in 5.6.1?

There were some issues with the device simulator not working correctly when the content finder was visible.  This issue was resolved in 5.6.1.

Some of the symptoms were that the simulator would only work once for the session as long as the content finder was visible.  If you're working on a page and remove the cf# in the url, the simulator would work correctly.
