Issue with Update Reference Sync Action of MSM

Avatar

Level 2

Is there any way by which we can exclude a particular component node or any of its specific properties to be excluded from the CQ MSM Reference Update Action of Multi Site Management.?

We have a component named as "locale-selection". We do not want the roll out to cause the "updateReference Sync Action" to be triggered for this particular component to any of the live copy pages.  Is there any way we can do the same  other than creating a custom roll out configuration.

For a specific property of a component, I think you need to right a custom rollout config.

You can override the livecopy for a particular page or a component. Refer [1]

Hi,

We do want to roll out all of the content of our component from the blueprint to all the live copy pages.

The component also outputs the link of the blueprint page. Hence, we do not want this link to be updated to the that of the livecopy when the component is rendered in the live copy pages.

This happens due to the updateReferenceSync Action in the roll out configuration.

We wanted to exclude this sync action to be run on this component/node or specific property of the component.
