Error While Creating an Adobe Experience Manager 6.4 Project using Adobe Maven Archetype 13

While trying to create AEM 6.4 project using Adobe Maven Archetype 13 using the following command:

"mvn org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin:2.4:generate -DarchetypeGroupId=com.adobe.granite.archetypes -DarchetypeArtifactId=aem-project-archetype -DarchetypeVersion=13 -DarchetypeCatalog=https://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public/"

I am getting following error:

Check if you're able to access "https://repo.adobe.com/nexus/content/groups/public" ​via browser? If yes, then fix your cacerts- download the repo.adobe.com cert and add it to your keystore. If not, then your network proxy is the root cause, try different network/machine and test the same.

You could also configure a proxy in your settings.xml if you have one available.

Is there a specific reason you are using such an old version of archetype? Try using the latest archetype[1] and check[2] for more details on the project setup. There might be an issue with the settings.xml. Everything is explained at [2]
