Hi ,

I have a problem with these steps:

--copy the foudation/components/image component as apps/myproject/components/MyImage , then change the value the 2 properties:

jcr:title & componentGroup to avoid conflict.

--add the MyImage component to the sidekick toolbox

-- drag this "MyImage" component to the page and specify the image file and title/description properties.

-- Activated the page

but now image show in the publish instance (http://localhost:4503/content/emptypage.html)

image disappear but title and description !

I followed your steps, I don't see any issues with image. Have you activated MyImage Component in activation tree?

Please check what do you have in html at the place of image by enabling firebug or chrome dev tools.

Any errors in console.log or error.log?

Hi,

Can you try deactivating and activating the page again?

Thanks,

Hi,

If you are trying this via new template, then make sure along with page all other templates/components that are associated with page have to activate, like you image component, use activation tree to select your myproject and activate it.

Thanks
