AEM community component - Reviews

Hi,

I want to use reviews component but my site users are not stored in AEM, instead they are stored in janrain. is it possible to use reviews component in this scenario?

AEM Components are typically built with the assumption that AEM user data is located in the AEM JCR. To make it work with other persistence layers - you would have to do a lot of customization.

The Communities components including Reviews use AEM user nodes to provide identity and ACL information. Does your integration with Janrain create any user node in AEM, similar to the LDAP connector? If yes, then you should be able to use the Communities component. If not, then indeed it will require a lot of customization.
