I am a developer, I want to develop on the platform and show the work I have done. Will there be such a version? I really don't mind if the code lives on Adobe's premisses I just want to be able to create code and show the work done. In addition, how do developers get a hold of AEM 6.3 if they haven't purchased a license but want to learn the platform?

You will need to contact  with an Adobe sales person to get a trial/demo version of Adobe Experience Manager.

Hi Helmut,

Unfortunately you can be up to date only working currently on AEM through your org otherwise it is quite expensive.

Thanks,

Hi,

Please follow the instructions mentioned in:

http://help-forums.adobe.com/content/adobeforums/en/experience-manager-forum/adobe-experience-manage...

you can have a standalone jar file.

please fill the below form and you will get a URL from SPP help team of Adobe. and that email only you will have license code.

https://adobe.allegiancetech.com/cgi-bin/qwebcorporate.dll?idx=82357Q

Once you download the file. you can rename the jar file.

For Author: aem62-author.p4502.jar

For Publish: aem62-publish-p4503.jar

after extract the jar file you will redirect to register page where you will have input the license code which will be provided by SPP team in email.

Also Register yourself with Adobe solution partner with your corporate email. you can also mail your queries to SPPHELP@adobe.com

For AEM 6.3,

Currently we are not able to see 6.3 version option in https://adobe.allegiancetech.com/cgi-bin/qwebcorporate.dll?idx=82357Q when you select a version.

Wait for some time. As per my understandings it's not released yet.
