I duplicated an existing page from one menu to another, the page was duplicated correctly, but when I go to edit the page it stays as without nennum content.

only that when I enter the site the page works ... what should it be?

I did not get you completely. Can you help me in reproducing this? and also mention the AEM version in use.

I tried copy-pasting a page from en to fr node and I can edit both pages separately in AEM 6.3
