Page lockowner always showing as admin

Hi,

I have created a workflow. In one of the steps, am trying to lock a page. But the page always shows lockowner as admin. I tried impersonating as a particular user by using session.impersonate and then locking the article.But still it shows the lockowner as admin only.

If anybody has any pointers on it, please reply.

Have you tried locking the page with a user who has the required permissions? In this situation, it should show the lock owner as the user whom locked the page.

Yes, I also thought about this and to be on a safer side, I gave the user all the 7 permissions in user admin. But still it showed locked by admin only. Any pointers would be helpful.

This sounds like a bug. If User Z locks the page -- it should show up as User Z -- not admin.
