One can see the page details in last column if the page selected does not have any child pages. I am wondering is there a way to see the page details even if it has child pages

Any pointers to this are appreciated

I think the details of the page shows up if you select that irrespective of whether a page has child pages or not. Let me validate once.

Regards,

Jitendra

I am not looking for page properties - i am looking for Page information that gets displayed on selecting the page. Only child pages are displaying Info . I checked the code and looks like if page has children it is not displaying the display properties

If you checked the code - then it appears that is the way AEM is developed. You can always overlay the code to meet your requirements.
