Magento Integration -- AEM Connector

I am trying to connect AEM with magento 2.2.4 in my local windows machine.

Magento 2.2.4 is succesfully installed on windows on xampp server.

In Magento URL,

To connect magento to AEM, magento2-aem-connector-master.zip package is given.After unzip we have aem-connector(AEM maven project) to install to AEM and magento2 folders are there. But the steps are not sufficient to really connect to AEM.

Please assist me.

There appears to be detailed steps in the AEM docs. What part is not detailed enough?
