integrating adobe target with aem 6.3

I have followed steps to integrate adobe target with aem

  1. created an Adobe target configuration in Author instance at http://localhost:4502/libs/cq/core/content/tools/cloudservices.html  by providing adobe target account details
  2. edited the test and target replication agent at http://localhost:4502/etc/replication/agents.author.html and provided details on settings, transport tabs and test connection is successful

Questions:

  1. Do I need to do above configurations on Publish instance too?
  2. Do I need to provide any configuration details at http://localhost:4502/system/console/configMgr for "Adobe AEM Target HTTP Client" ?
  3. Do I need to do any other configurations to sync activities, segments etc to and from AEM and Adobe Target vice versa?

Thanks,

Srinu

For Configuration, Page publishes would work!!

Activate the root page of the website to replicate it to the publish server. (See How To Publish Pages.)

Note: If the framework you attached to the page was not activated yet, a wizard opens which allows you to publish it as well.

Source:- Manually Configuring the Integration with Adobe Target

For Activities, we need to publish them:- Managing Activities

I would recommend you using DTM/Launch to integrate AEM with Target. Many things would be catered automatically in this way.

Thanks for the reply. when you say "framework you attached to the page" , I think you are talking about provisioned target framework. If so, is provisioned target framework needed to have AEM and Adobe Target work together?

Test and Target Replication Agent, Target Cloud configurations  settings are done (I did not create any target framework).

Thanks.
