Images in AEM Community email templates

Hey everyone,

I have an Issue with the email templates of the AEM community subscription mails. When there is an image attachment in the blog / forum post or comment, it is not referenced properly in the mail (host is missing). I made sure the Externalizer at (/system/console/configMgr/com.day.cq.commons.impl.ExternalizerImpl) is filled in properly.

This is how it looks in the mail (see <img tag):

As you can see the image starts with /content/usergenerated right away.

Am I missing any Config here?

Specs: AEM 6.2 with AEM Communities latest featurepack (cq-socialcommunities-pkg-1.8.500.zip).

Cheers,

D

You said, you are on 6.2 but 1.8.500 is FP for 6.1. If it's 6.2, you need to update Communities Pack. Once that's done, please check whether Externalizer is configured on publish too, if you continue facing the problem.

I'm sorry Rahu, thanks for correcting me.
I got my projects mixed up. Its AEM 6.1.0  SP2 :-)

The externalizer is filled in on both publishers (/system/console/configMgr/com.day.cq.commons.impl.ExternalizerImpl)

The domain is filled with publish https://mydomain.com. Host name and Context path are left blank.

No problems . The steps, you have mentioned seems to be correct. Will it be possible for you to share screenhot of the externalizer config? You can black out your domain, if you want.

Can you try after updating your local domain too?
