Image hotspot icon not available in asset editor

I need to create a component with an image hotspot functionality and found this video. At around the 51 second mark it says that it is required for Dynamic Media to be enabled in order to use the hotspot feature.

I looked for how to enable Dynamic Media and found this link, which says that scene7 must be activated by way of the command line as a runmode option, which I did. However, after adding the dynamicmedia_scene7 run mode option I am still not able to see the hotspot icon in asset editor.

Is there more I need to do to activate the asset hotspot functionality other than activating scene7 runmode? I couldn't find the separate training video referenced in that first video link.

How to configure dynamic media (and enable Dynamic Media by activating scene7 run mode)

The dynamicmedia_scene7 runmode while starting AEM will only enable Dynamic Media specific features/workflows on the AEM instance. Post this, AEM should also be configured to work with a valid Dynamic Media account.

For this configuration please refer to Create a Dynamic Media Configuration in Cloud Services section in the same link https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/assets/dynamic/config-dms7.html

Hi @davidm28404065 - Have you also completed the Dynamic media configuration and is the connection successful?

Apparently not. How can I verify? My local AEM instance started properly when I used the start script in the Configure Dynamic Media article, and I didn't see any further instructions on setting it up, so I assumed that was sufficient.
